I have a Dell laptop running Windows 7, 64 bit and Adobe Acrobat that I've used for a few years. This computer recently had problems so I purchased a new laptop running Windows 7, 64 bit and have Adobe Acrobat X loaded on the new machine.

I tried to copy all of the files from my old laptop to my new one and all of the files transferred (with a few exceptions) except for the files with a .pdf extension.

Any suggestions on why the files won't transfer or how to get them to transfer? it accounts for about 20% of the total files on the old hard drive.

Thank you

A file copied should be fine. What exactly happens with them now? Do OTHER pdf files work, such as ones newly downloaded from the Internet, or newly made ones?
