Hi there,
I bought my software while using a 2007 iMac.
I've recently bought a new iMac, a 2015 running Sierra OS.
I've set up my software, but it has been very glitchy.
1. Indesign keeps crashing for no reason
2. Indesign is very pixellated
3. Illustrator and Photoshop crashes every now and again, and freezes quite a lot
4. My Acrobat X Pro doesn't install properly
Can anyone help?
It's really frustrating and I can't get any work done - especially using Indesign.
Thanks
Ree

1. No CS6 application is supported under anything later than 10.10. Someone may come along with suggestions but I have none.
2. InDesign CS6 was never optimized for retina screens.
3. See number 1.
4. See number 1.
All of the above will be even worse if you migrated the applications instead of installing them properly.

So you're basically telling me that I need to repurchase/subscribe to CC even though CS6 is more than efficient?

Bob's merely giving you some advice that CS6 is not supported by Adobe running under El Capitan or Sierra and that it's not optimised for high resolution screens. CS6 will not be upgraded to match newer operating systems. It's up to you whether you take the advice or not.

I’m not telling you anything. I’m giving you facts.
You can decide for yourself.

Sorry if I came across as being catty - I was channeling a more humorous tone, which clearly did not come across.
Was feeling a little defeated as I didn't know what the issue was. (Wasn't aware that it was THAT outdated.)
Thanks for the advice, will look into upgrading.
Thanks for your help!

If you're investing in a top-of-the-range computer, shouldn't you use software that matches it?

It's not a top-of-the-range computer, just a newer model.
