Premiere project audio out of sync when in After Effects

While editing a Premiere Pro project in After Affects, all of a sudden the audio was out of sync. In Premiere there are no issues, only in After Effects.

Is there a way to fix this problem without starting over and losing my work in After Effects?

Let's make sure you're doing thing the right way.

You are aware that AE does NOT let you review your work the same way as PP, correct?  You know that reviewing your AE work area is a different thing than hitting the space bar in PP, correct?

When I preview the video in AE it's out of sync. For me, that shortcut is the space bar. Even when I preview manually, it's out of sync.

I cleaned the Media and Disk Cache in Premiere Pro and AE and it now works!
