    Code Navigator "Stuck"

    webgeekstress
      When I open a document in Dreamweaver CS4, everything is pre-selected, as though the Code Navigator were stuck on the outermost div. This just started happening yesterday; before then everything was fine. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling to no avail.

      Ideas, please.

      My apologies if this has been addressed before: searching the forums throws an error message.

          Okay, actually, this is happening to just one document on one site, and so perhaps there's something in the code which I'm just not seeing, though I still don't understand what could be doing this. Code follows:
          <!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0 Transitional//EN" " http://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml1/DTD/xhtml1-transitional.dtd">
          <html xmlns=" http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml">

          .twoColFixLtHdr #mainContent { zoom: 1; }

            You have quite a few coding errors. Where did you get this code? It
            definitely is not Dreamweaver code. For starters, change the
            • tags to
              <li> the
            tags to <ul> with corresponding closing tags </ul>.

              These are anomalies introduced by the webforum, not actual HTML for the
              page - just so you'll know.
