Assuming that you're using LR CC or LR 6, try going to the Performance tab in Preferences, and uncheck Use graphics processor.
That might fix the crashing.
As for the message about updating the Camera Raw plugin in Photoshop (again assuming that you have LR CC/6), it's a bug, and you can safely check Don't show again and click Open anyway.
For the record, the latest version of LR is 2015.10/6.10, and the latest version of the Camera raw plugin in Photoshop is 9.10.
My Lightroom is crashing after the last update, can I get rollback? CC 2015.10 [ 1111918 ]
Have you tried disabling the GPU as described above? (Preferences > Performance > Uncheck Use graphics processor)
when i try to click on disable it crashes and when i reopened it, it remained checked. sorry i have cc and all the latest updates
it didnt work when i unchecked GPU it crashed and also it doesnt give me that option to click dont show again
when i try to click on disable it crashes and when i reopened it, it remained checked.
See this thread After upgrading to Lightroom 6- Develop module causes it to freeze and not respond??? which contains instructions for Windows on how to disable the GPU by editing the preferences file.
If you're on a Mac, the location of the preferences file should be
Macintosh HD/Users/[your username]/Library/Application Support/Adobe/Lightroom Preferences,
and the preferences file is named Lightroom 6 Preferences.plist
it doesnt give me that option to click dont show again
What is the exact version of Lightroom?
