Each time I remove a photo from a collection Lightroom shuts down.  I have tried everything suggested:  uninstalled, reinstalled, reset Preferences, renamed various files as ....old and restarted.  Nothing works. Any ideas?

What exact version of LR?

What exact version of the OS you are using?

Do you have the option to use the GPU enabled? If so disable it.

2015.10 release; Build 1111918.  Windows 10 64bit. As Windows now updates itself whether you like it or not - the latest version.

I disabled the Use Graphics Processor option.  Seems to have sorted the problem.  Thanks.

If you are running the Pro version of Win 10 you can turn off the auto update feature. If on home then you are stuck.
