Lightroom destroys images

I have encountered several images, where most of the picture is simply black.

I have already tried to optimise the catalogue. That does not solve the issue.  When I export the files, they look identical as the screenshot.

When I try to "read metadata from file" it solves the issue sometimes, but all my edits and GPS data is gone...

When I "write metadata to file" and then "read metadata from file" it does not change anything.

So I think LR is messing something up here.
The image files are okay though because when I try to import them to Capture One, the files look good.

Any solution? Have updated to the newest release of LR.

This is a camera, card, reader or cable problem. In other words a hardware problem. It is not LR that is doing this to your images.

No that's not true!!!
The files were imported month ago and worked as well.
When you read my post, you'll learn that the images work fine, when I import them from the same hard drive location inside Capture One for example. They are not on any card!

Can you upload one of them to Dropbox and post a link to it here?
