How to Make Reflection of Website (FW or PS)

    Level 7
      Hello,

Camtasia makes a nice reflection (graphic) of a movie as a preloader; see
      here:
      http://www.web-eze.com/clients/tutorials/contentmanagement/contentmanagementsystem.htm

How would one go about making something similar using FireWorks (or
      PhotoShop)?

In Fireworks, take a copy of your image and
            - Select Modify > Transform > Flip Vertical
            - Select Commands > Creative > Fade Image, choose the vertical fade (upper right)
            - Adjust the opacity gradient handles as you like: the circle adjusts the edge of fully opaque pixels, the square adjusts the edge of the fully transparent pixels and also adjusts the overall length of the gradient.
            - Create a new image on your chosen background color. Make it twice as tall as your original image, but the same width. Put your original image at the top and your flipped and faded image at the bottom. (For a bit more realism than the Camtasia effect, resize the bottom image to be shorter.)

Pixlor -- I also found that changing the transparency of the flipped image
about 40-50% further enhancens the effect. Thanks again for getting me on
                  the right path.

Sure! And good point about the overall transparency!

Yes, i like the tip about knocking down the transparency. Thanks Kelly.
