Is there a way of using the 3D behaviour "Play Animation" to
function using keyboard keys rather than mouse clicks on 3d objects
(what can be added or swapped to make it do so).
I have looked into using the chrome behaviour version of
"Play Animation" which allows keyboard key activation which has the
advantage of specifying start and end to the millisecond but
doesn't allow for making other animation states to be "stopped".
The 3D behaviour "Play Animation" allows for the choice to
make other animations "stopped" but not the use of keyboard
elements to activate.
What I am trying to achieve is to separately activate around
14 animations of 14 separate 3d objects within the w3d using
keyboard buttons including arrows and letters
Would be grateful for any help or direction
If you download the Chrome Behaviors, think tehre is a
keyboard activation for
Play Animation. You can find it at:
Otherwise, writing your own script for this is not too
myModel = member(3DmemberName).model("modelName")
myModel.keyframePlayer.playing = 1
= 1 is playing, = 0 is paused.
(that's if it is a keyFrame animation)
Many thanks Dean, I have taken the survey by way of thanking
you for your reply.
It is keyframe and I have purchased Chrome behaviours 4 but I
understand your answer I shall attempt to write my own script (I
rarely do as I am still a beginner, I have managed to adapt certain
behaviours in the past, this will be a new challenge)
