Hi. I am having trouble understanding how the conversion metrics work using the global mbox. I would like to create a goal which is achieved when the visitor sees the global mbox on a specific page (or simply views a specific page). The issue I have is, my urls are never the same, for example:
https://pet1.johnlewis-insurance.com/quoteAndBuy.do?e=e1s1&curPage=captureDetails
as opposed to simply:
https://pet1.johnlewis-insurance.com/quoteAndBuy.do?&curPage=captureDetails
So I need to able to say either:
Conversion > viewed a page > where URL contains https://pet1.johnlewis-insurance.com/quoteAndBuy.do? AND &curPage=captureDetails
OR
Conversion > viewed an mbox (global ) > where the URL contains https://pet1.johnlewis-insurance.com/quoteAndBuy.do? AND &curPage=captureDetails
Can you tell me if this is possible, or how I can get around this?
Thanks
Matt
Because there isn't a way to do exactly what you want I would recommend opening a feature request from here: Target - Ideas this is publicly visible and product management plays close attention to those requests. With that out of the way I see two different options that get you really close to what you want the easiest way to explain them is to show you via screen-shots what they are.
If this helps you don't forget to like and mark as helpful as that helps me Hope you have a wonderful day.
