    HTTPService Fault handling

      Hi All :D

Im using HTTPService to access data from a jsp page. Actually I am using spring mvc. My problem is for example my session already expires. So i should not be able to access that particular jsp page. But I do not know how to tell flex that my session is now dead or expired.

Any idea how to do this? How to tell flex that my session already ended?

      Thanks :D

I'm assuming your complete app is in Flex; that is, no HTML based pages. Otherwise, when a session expires, do you forward the user to the login page and that should solve the problem.

Now for Flex based apps, I'd use a single custom class based on HTTPService and write a filter on the server side that sends back a simple message that session has expired. This custom class would then check for this message while processing the result event before giving result event to application module that made the request!

There may be simpler solutions, but I can't think of any at the moment!
