Are you using the Creative Cloud App to 'Update' Lightroom?
Are you giving more time for the download, or cancelling?
I have known downloads to appear to 'stall' but then, given more time, suddenly finish as if the download had finished (at 54%) but the install process continues until 100% done.
Yes, I am using Creative Cloud, and I follow the hints to update my Apps in use.
Photoshop CC (2017), Bridge CC (2017) and Camera RAW CC updated perfectly, problem since last update is Lightroom....
I do not know, if the process still works after showing me the message : update failed .... on the right sind the button changes in "Repeat" so I hve the chance to repeat my download or intalling action, that tries to continue at 54 but stopps again showing the same error message.
Last time the Adobe team helped with a separarte download-Link, but this time the same problem occurs, only exception is a different error code.
I will keep the window open, pressing the thumbs that something runs in the back, but I think this is a silent hope :-)

No Sign In required and have the CC DTA completely closed. Use the Gear icon in the upper right hand corner and select "Quit" to completely close it.
