Please tell us which CC application so that this can be moved to the proper forum for help.
You posted this in the nontechnical Lounge Forum.
I'm talking about the Photoshop CC 2017 program itself.
When it opens it's overall display resolution is extremely low vs that of CS6 Extended.
Everything about the program work space display is too large (menus, tools, etc.) compared to the working area.
Sorry if I can't answer any better than that.
Hopefully that's clearer.
Do you have a hi-DPI display? Photoshop CC scales the interface on hi-DPI displays to make it larger, but you can adjust it to your preference with Preferences > Interface.
See here for more:
The following worked:
In Photoshop version CC 2015 and later, HiDPI support on Windows is no longer an Experimental Feature (now called Technology Previews). This feature is enabled by default, but you can revert to the pre-HiDPI support look by following these steps:
- Choose Edit > Preferences > Interface.
- In the Text section, for the UI Scaling drop-down box, select 100%.
- Restart Photoshop.
NOW I'm a happy camper.
Oh my gosh-thank you for this. I spent over an hour trying to figure out how to do it on my own and researching finally something that works-yay :-)
