Migrating from Aperture to Lightroom.

Hi,

I have a 2011 MacBook Pro (MBP) with Aperture. I now have a new MBP with Sierra OS which does not support Aperture. I had my Aperture library stored locally on my old MBP but I've heard that if I migrate to Lightroom I can have the catalog stored locally and the library stored on my NAS drive.

Can anyone advise me with setting up this configuration.

Regards,

Picksley Brown.

The catalogue must be on the local machine. By "library", I think you mean to say "photos", in which case yes, they can be on the network.
