How do I recover from having linked my Acrobat to Dropbox on my ipad?

I linked by mistake trying to convert a document to something I could send out.  Dropbox disappeared my file structure (folders) and the tools I need to annotate, mark, etc, even delete files.  I checked the Acrobat manual and removed the Dropbox from Adobe, but those are all still gone.  Help!  I needed these abilities tomorrow..

Did you look at your drop box account to see if the files were saved there?

They are or were there, but I need the editing and folder tools that were in my Adobe Acrobat account that have disappeared.  I have a lot of other documents in Acrobat, not Dropbox, that I would need time I don't have to figure out how to save somewhere else so I could delete and reinstall Acrobat.
