    formatting my data

    Hulfy Level 1
      Hi,

I want to query my cf table and output it without putting it in a datasource. In a CFM page I would use the code attached. Is there a way to use this code and output the contents to a textarea or "coldfusion" area?

Is there a CF forum you can post this question in?

You need to make sure it is outputting valid XHTML, then you can use e4x to
            access the output.

If you need to query a server DB, you'll have to have something to talk to the DB and coldfusion is a good alternative. If you want to do it on the desktop, you can do AIR with its embedded SQLite DB.
