    Zooming text

I am trying to figure out the best way to zoom text into place in Flash. Previous topics have suggested using a motion tween with the text set to a small font in the first frame and the final size in the last, however the smallest you can set it for is 8.

The template I am working with seems to use a target path and the text zooms in from essentially invisible in the first frame (there is a target visible in this frame in the FLA file), grows, and then shrinks back slightly. This is the effect I am going for as it is more fluid than a simple tween. I have not been able to figure out how this was done in the template I am using or how to duplicate the effect.

Any suggestions? Am I on the right track with the Target Path idea? Can I use a screen transition behavior?
