    Adding a spreadsheet to PDF that won't open in another program




      I'm with a print shop, and we are wanting to implement a system where the PDF file has a spreadsheet attached (and visible without opening an existing program) to track the item's order history.  My boss swears up and down this is something he's done before and can't remember how.  I've tried using comments, or simply attaching an .xls to the document, but neither are what he wants.


      Any advice?
