after effects: missing fill effect in export

I've made a simple ripple transition in after effects for a project, I have exported this sequence to a premiere pro project on my desktop, yet every time I open the project it notifies me that my fill effect is missing, and all the colors on my transition revert back to the originals.

is there any way to prevent this?

Did you actually render out the transition & import the new file into PP, or are you using Dynamic link?

Personally, I wouldn't use Dynamic Link.

Are you using (standard) "Fill" or are you using "Eyedropper Fill"?

Are both your Pr and Ae versions within the same cycle?

What is your workflow for getting the After Effects composition into Pr?  Are you importing it?

Dynamic Link works really well for many of our projects.

Oh, I use it, too.  But in this instance?  A short, lil' ol' transition?  Nah.  Seems like overkill to me.
