The sign out-sign is greyed out so I can´t sign out from the Creative Cloud App. It will open, and the Apps mark is visible. But every time I click on it, the wheel turns for a minute or so, and then the Apps mark disappears again. I get every now and then a warning that the Adobe Creative Cloud is missing or destroyed. I have tried to click the repair-button and also installed the program from scratch several times.
There is no SLCache or SLStore folders in the Adobe folder in the system Library either.
I have also tried the Adobe-proposal and deleted the OOBE-folder in Application support, restarted and installed Lightroom again. Unfortunately, nothing seems to help.
When I "googled" the problem, I found that I am not alone with this problem on the brand new iMac Retina 27-inch, June 2017.
Maybe I will have to wait for an Adobe update???
I am a daily user of Lightroom and therefor also invested in the new iMac to make things even better, this is not a happy situation.
Sorry that Lightroom is not working for you as expected. Please use Adobe CC cleaner to remove the Creative Cloud application and Lightroom from your computer and then reinstall them.
Use the Creative Cloud Cleaner Tool to solve installation problems to first remove Lightroom and then the CC desktop app.
Then reinstall the CC app using the download link https://creative.adobe.com/products/download/creative-cloud
Let us know the outcome.
Done all that, and the same procedure happens : the Creative Cloud App opens, and the Apps mark is visible. But every time I click on it, the wheel turns for a minute or so, and then the Apps mark disappears again. I get a warning that the Adobe Creative Cloud is missing or destroyed. I have tried to click the repair-button.... same procedure.
Then I tried to install Lightroom separate, but the installation stops because "Adobe Creative Cloud is missing or destroyed."
I have spent more than 12 hours trying different solutions, and now I simply give up the whole thing.
This must be something Adobe have overseen or not tested with the new 2017-Macs.
-But Photoshop is working ok
