As i was able to understand the issue from the description mentioned above, you are unable to find Adobe Acrobat icon on the toolbar on your Mac computer, is that correct?

Try navigating to the /Applications folder to check if Acrobat Reader is there in the list. If its not, visit the following link to install Acrobat Reader on your computer: Adobe - Adobe Acrobat Reader DC Distribution.
