I need to import 200 images wich all have the same structure name and path:
"1224561_FR.jpeg" - the names starts with different digits code and ends with "_FR"
"1224561 - XXXXXX" - the folders starts with the digits followed by a variable text " - XXXXX"
Is that possible to import the images to Indesign only by the first digits of the filename?
I have a CVS file with the digits codes but can't figured how do it!
Thank you guys!
Hello, yes you can do it with dit merge in Indesign. In the source file the Row with the name of the pictures need a ' or @ , it dépend the version and the software is using to do.
I Think it's the Way to do what you need
thank you for your answer.
But what I'm looking for is a way to indesign find the folder path by it's name (reading only the digits and ignoring the following text name).
Is there a way to indesign search a folder only by it's partial file name?
Thank you again!
