How to achieve this animation sequence

Hello,

I want to learn how to make animation like this. I’m a beginner in AE and I am a bit struggling.

I thought I can use trapcode particular using texture but no success. It is quite hard to control positioning and speed in the plug-in.

I’m just wondering that creating each element manually in a timeline is the only way to make this type of animation?

I’d appreciate if anyone has any advice or suggestion. I'm all ears...

Thank you,

Aya

Sure, why not? Clearly the original creators used a similar approach. Asit perhaps from using built-in transforms for scaling and rotation and perhaps a bit of wiggling most of that looks like hand-crafted mask animation.

Hi Mylenium,

Thanks for your feedback!

I usually use morphing and tween in AE but  I'll try to make it manually - I may really enjoy the process.
