Image not loading properly in Lightroom

As can be seen in the above screenshot the photo loads ok in the file preview window on the left

but the photo is totally distorted in the center window. No matter what I have tried does not fix

the image. HP Laptop/i7/Nvidia 670/8

Looking for any ideas to fix issue.

Have you tried disabling GPU acceleration? Let us know if that makes a difference.

Go to:

Edit >> Preferences >> Performance (tab)

Lightroom >> Preferences >> Performance (tab) on Mac OS

Uncheck the box “Use Graphics Processor”

Then click OK

Otherwise if you are using the clipping warnings try clicking on the triangle icons – top right and left in the histogram.
