Nobody can tell you much without exact system info or other technical details. Those WorkQueue issues indicate compatibility issues with your processor or some driver.
Are you running scripts there?
I've got some similar errors when developing scripts.
Could be that one of then is interfering with your AE.
Try removing all of them from the Scripts UI folder if that's the case and give it try.
Also if you have any startup scripts try removing those too.
I am running Windows 10 version 10.0.15063 on an Alienware Aurora R6 with 32gb RAM and an Intel i7 processor @ 4.2GHz. My graphics card is an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080. The plugins I am using are Motion2 and Rubberhose2, but I have colleagues using the exact same hardware and plugins with no issue.
Thanks for the replies.

I did a compete reinstall of my operating system and everything was working just fine for almost a month. Today I am experiencing the same issues as before, with After Effects crashing repeatedly. After effects will crash every time I unlink the x and y scale properties and attempt to change one to zero. Other actions will cause it to crash but this is the only action guaranteed to cause a crash.
