I am currently creating around 150 posters for a company. Each poster needs to have bespoke logos and then need to be turned into a PDF. Can anyone recommend a method that would speed this job up?

Thanks!

We need more information: What is a "bespoke logo" (that term not used in my circles). Are the logos created in InDesign or Illustrator? What else is on the poster? What version of InDesign? Include a screen capture of a typical poster.

Each logo is created in Illustrator and will mostly be around the same size. The logos sit in the same place on the poster on In-Design. I currently have a large illustrator file with all the logos on separate layers and use object layer options to change them in In-Design. The logo sits on the top right of the page.

And are they all the same size or do they vary?

  5. place each logo into the box you made in the logo layer, apply object style to "scale to fit" (lock this layer when done)
  6. repeat step five on each other master page and apply the object style. naming the master pages so they match the name of the logo would help you here
  7. Now you can create pages, apply the page on the master that has the logo you want and on the "layout layer, make you layout. Since the layout layer is below in the stack, the layout will always be under the logo
  8. If you have to make edits to the logo, you can do in the illustrator file, update the link, and the object style will keep your art work fitting perfect within the space.

Thats how i would do it.
