Today my pc decided to break adobe

All my apps seemed to just disappear. After investigating the problem i found that my program files still contained all my apps such as Ps Ae Ai and Id. But windows did not see them as installed. I could not open creative cloud so i downloaded AdobeCreativeCloudCleanerTool.exe and cleaned CC. I then reinstalled CC and it opened correctly showing that Ps Ae Ai and Id are all installed on my machine and even shows the open button. but when is click on the open button nothing happens.

Why did it stop working when all my other programs on my pc are working perfectly. Is there a way to do a file integrity check on the installed apps?

if you're unable to install the cc desktop app at this stage, use an administrator account (solution 3 here, https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/kb/creative-cloud-missing-damaged.html)

use the desktop app to install your cc programs/trials

i thought this might be the first answer. Its a rather dumb solution. I dont mind downloading all the things again, but why delete all the files when they could just be located on your pc...

But anyway. Thanks for the response. Just going to reinstall 8 of the adobe CC apps.
