My adobe acrobat used to work fine and now only the application menu appears? No PDFs will open, there is no application/window frame, nothing works.
I have both restarted my computer as well as uninstalled and reinstalled the application.

Would you help us the version of Acrobat and operating system you are using?
Assuming you are using windows, try launching Acrobat>Help>Repair installation. Once the repair is done, try resetting preference whether Mac or Windows: How to reset Acrobat Preference settings to default. Restart your machine and try again. If the issue persists try to check the issue in other user profile on the machine. Let us know if any of this helps.
