I am doing a 400 page book that has a graphic on the left side and text/explanation on the right.
All the graphics have been scanned tiff/jpg.
I have also placed them on a PDF file.
There is a script that will automatically place the graphics from the PDF file in individual pages, but there is no way (at least I haven't found any) to place them only on one side (the left of the spread)
1- How can I place every graphic on the left page of the spread only, using the PDF script or simply selecting all the graphics at once?
2- How can they all be re-sized automatically?
Many thanks in advance.

Hi,
I am not aware of the script you are talking about. But what you can do is try Data merge. Using it you can create a frame(on left master page) in which you want the image and then use data merge(for images) to have all the images fitted in that frame.
Merge data to create form letters, envelopes, or mailing labels in Adobe InDesign
