always a spinning wheel at startup

Why everytime I launch lightroom is there a spinning wheel.  i have to wait about 10 min to actually begin using lightroom.  I have been a longtime lightroom user and never had this with other versions.  I tried to screenshot(photo below) the spinning wheel but it didn't show up.   If I look it will tell me lightroom is not responding.  If i wait long enough it will settle in.

Hi nicolel,

Please disable usage of the graphics processor in Lightroom. Take a look at this article Adobe Lightroom GPU Troubleshooting and FAQ and let us know if that helps.
