    accessing page url

    Level 7
Is it possible to check the url of the current html page with AS? I want to us an if statement to disable the menu item for the currently viewed page
so clicking it doesn't reload the page. I searched the help and looked through the AS reference and couldn't find anything.

With the "_url" property you can only check for the URL of the swf that is playing, but why don't you just write it to the swf wis the flashvars parameter.

With javascript you can even do it dynamicly.

            *blinks in dumb confusion* huh?
Sorry, I am not a flash programmer. I am going to need a little more direction than that. I looked up flashvars and the help gave me no answer. I
don't even know where to start with the Javascript since I don't really know it either.
