Photoshop Mix on iPad 3?

I would like to use the Photoshop Mix app on my iPad 3, but it says in the app's description in the app store "Photoshop Mix was developed for iPad 4 or newer models.  Not recommended for older iPad models."  Does this mean I can't use the app on my iPad 3?  If I could run the app, would that be bad for my iPad?  Thanks.

I read through the mobile apps FAQ, and it says to check the app's page in the app store for compatibility.  On Photoshop Mix's page in the app store, it says "Photoshop Mix was developed for iPad 4 or newer models.  Not recommended for older iPad models. "  I have an iPad 3, so I can download the app becuase my iOS version is compatible, but will anything bad happen if I run it?  Or will it just be really slow and buggy?  In other words, is it just not a good idea to run Photoshop Mix on an iPad 3?  Thanks.

Yes you are right. You can download it, it is just that maybe the updated features won't show up or work in your iPad.
