Gradients in vector objects shift when imported

Hi,

I'm having a really frustrating problem when pasting vector objects with gradients into InDesign.
When I do, the gradient shifts a few steps to the side or top, making the object look like it has parts cut off.

This is what happens:

Any ideas what may cause this?

Cheers

Instead of pasting the objects in, try saving them as AI or PDF, and placing them. You will get far more consistent results, and it will be easier to make edits down the road.
