I'm getting back into art and a few things have slipped my mind. Say you have two layers, and one of which is a black line. Another layer which is tan, you put atop the black line layer. I want to make the black like a darker version of the tan I've put on top, but have the fill in true to the original tan color. Can anyone help me remember how to do this?
I remember doing it in real time even, like WHILE I was coloring with my stylus, I wold go over my line art with the color fill in, and the black line beneath would change to a darker version of the color I was using to fill in.
Maybe Blending Modes would help (In the Layers panel).
