Hi there, I am wanting to utilise Lightroom on 2 separate laptops via One Drive. Reason being is I have someone that works for me as I'm partially disabled and she takes care of the organisation of my images and completes all my backups to 2 external drives as well as One Drive. She did create a new catalog and imported a folder of my images, from my One Drive account, using her laptop. Of course, I can see when folders have been added/subtracted from my One Drive account. The problem is that when I open this LR catalog, from One Drive, it can't pick up the images, because this has been done via her laptop and LR maps according to her laptop name. Is there a way in which we can both access the LR catalog and images on my One Drive account? Is it possible at all?
Thanks Axel for the link and possible solutions.
Dropbox and One Drive can both be set up as local drives I have used Lightroom on Dropbox but not on One Drive. As others have noted, you have to be very careful to allow your local folder to sync fully before making changes on a second computer. Using an external drive has drawbacks. It is one more thing to carry or lose while traveling and it is more difficult to back up an external drive. I have used Lightroom with Dropbox, but not One Drive or iCloud Drive. Does anyone have experience with these?
