    Combo Box Actions...

    Level 7
      Hi All,

      I've got a combo box with a list of countries.
      How can I tell Flash that if the user chooses any
      country other than Virgin Islands for instance, to then make a
      load of the other (irrelevant) form elements invisible ?

      something like
      if combo != "Virgin Islands"
      isp._visible = false

      And how would I attach a listener to the combo to make it all happen ?

      All and any help much appreciated.

      Tony

          See the entry for ComboBox.change in the components language reference.

            I was in Dublin recently and stopped to ask the quickest way to the town hall.
            The man I asked said "Are you driving or walking"
            "Driving" I said.
            And he replied "That's the quickest way".

            So thanks for your Irish advice.
            I asked for help and you helpfully said "look for help elsewhere".

            Nice job Dave.
