Best practices for websites in 2017

My studio's website process currently goes Design in Photoshop, once approved by client the web developers use the
PSD for coding the website ( i believe they are using bootstrap if they helps).
Most of our client websites have a minimum of  over 10 internal pages.

I'm looking for information on best practices for both the design and development team
Does anyone use Adobe XD to design then export assets for development ?

What programs and process does your studio use ?

      Thanks guys

The best way to figure out if Xd is the next logical step for your shop to use in your web design projects is to try it out. Its features are the best combination of tools from multiple apps. The learning curve is quick for most designers comfortable with Photoshop and Illustrator. Exporting individual assets, select artboards or all of the artboards to share with your developers is easy and efficient. We use Xd to build our prototypes, test with users and share with clients and developers and absolutely love that it is integrated with mobile devices too. Hope this helps.
