Creating Index error out of disk space

Trying to create an index of 7000 PDFs. I get error out of disk space.  I am definitely not out of disk space, this is a local company network drive with 100's GB free.

Sorry for the delay in response.

Would you let us know the version of Acrobat installed on your machine and the name and version of the operating system?

Is it possible for you to copy fewer files on the local machine and try creating index again? Also, may try whitelisting the location, launch Acrobat>Edit>Preferences>Security (Enhanced) > Privileged locations. Restart the machine and try again.
