    Submitting forms

    HRobbo
I'm relatively new to DW, with just basic training. Our website has been built by an external company with a form for people to submit to enter a competition. We need to make several clones of this form for our agents to link to from their sites.

When the form is submitted and received by us, we need the subject line to source which form it has come from.

      Is this possible?

If so, how do you do it and is it something a girl could do?

      Thanks

      H

LOL! a geeky girl can do it for sure.
Seriously, it all depends on how the form is processed: PHP, ASP, other server-side scripting
          language?...
Then, in each one of these languages, there are ways to append to what is submitted, the provenance
of what is submitted (i.e. the domain name, or the path of the web page...).
That would be something the external company that built the form for you could do, so that wherever
the form is, it will always tell you where it was submitted from. It would be simple to do (a few
minutes of work), provided that this 'external company' is someone you can talk to and request such
          little customization from.

So - it's multiple forms for multiple agents, and you need for the subject
lines to indicate which agent? It should be a piece of quiche to change
            this....
