I am used to printing in Aperture. But within the Aperture print window, if you click on the picture a small zoom bar appears under the picture and you can resize the image within the window. This allows you to basically zoom in and make the picture larger within say an 8x10 size print. I can't seem to find this feature in Lightroom. It seems that you have to first crop the photo and then go to the print module. This is cumbersome and I don't want to crop my masters every time I want to print them. Any suggestions?
If you don't want to crop the master image then create a virtual copy and crop it. You can have as many different virtual copies as you feel you need. So you can have different copies for different print sizes and different paper types, for black-and-white and color, etc. All that while leaving the master copy untouched.
Thanks. Not quite like the ease of Aperture but it works.
