Pen tool problem

When I use the pen tool, I get a jagged line. If I go back to the pen size and choose the size again ( say 10 ) it will work but the next use will be another jagged line which only goes away when I re establish the pen size. Pretty sure the file size is fine at 300 dpi. Any suggestions ? Thanks - G

Hi Greg

The pen tool does not have a size as such - it draws paths, although it can be used to draw a shape with a stroke on the path

Can you confirm whether you are using the pen tool (which draws paths and shapes)

Freeform pen tool (which does the same in a free way)

or the pencil tool

A screenshot showing the tool, the issue and the options bar would be helpful in narrowing down your problem
