    Printing problems

      Must close then reopen .pdf sometimes 3 times before it will successfully print.

          Sorry for the delay in response.

           

          Could you please elaborate the issue you are experiencing.

          If it is an issue with printing, try the troubleshooting steps provided here:  Troubleshoot PDF printing in Acrobat and Reader

          Check if it helps in resolving the issue.

           

          Please let us know the Adobe application you are using to print the file.

          What exactly happens when you try to print the file? Do you get any error message?

          Are you on Windows or Mac? What is the OS version?

            Troubleshooting steps do not help.

            I’m using:

             

               

            •   Windows version 7 Pro

               

            •   Adobe Acrobat DC 2017 Release (Continuous) Version 2017.012.20095

             

            First, I am mainly having problems printing when a second *.pdf file is open. Once I close that other file, I can then print the first document.

             

            Second, if I have saved the file once, then go back in sometime during the day and make a change, then want to print, the file will not print until I save it again; close it; open again, then it will print.

             

            Third, there’s no rhyme or reason as to why it won’t print. I sometimes have to open then close several times before it will allow me to print successfully.

             

            In all these cases when I request to print, the print dialoge box appears with the correct printer highlighted, but when I select Print, it will not do so. I get no dialogue box nor an error statement.
