Every time I want to render an AE file it closes

• I have been using AE for a while and it worked fine but after a while I decided to create a file then I was about to render it but by clicking the 'Render' AE button it closed unexpectedly.
• could you help me? what is this about?

We have no clue because we have no workflow, project, render, system or AE version details. Just about anything from not having a current version of AE installed to completely fouled up render settings could trigger a crash.

If your AE is up to date and your system meets the minimum system requirements and your composition is using one of the standard presets for frame size and frame rate (it doesn't say custom in composition settings) and you are using one of the rendering presets and you are still having problems you have to give us some details about your project and your system before we can help.
