When it is released, it will require that you purchase an upgrade in order to have support for the camera. Your other alternative will be to use the free DNG converter.

But isn't Lightroom 5.7 old? I have Lightroom 2015.10.1 with Camera RAW 9.10.1

In this case, it makes no difference. Your version of Lightroom won't open the NEF files from the Nikon D7500 either. It's going to require an update in order for you to have that capability. For the original poster of the question, since he is using Lightroom 5.7 it will require the purchase of an upgrade or a subscription to Lightroom CC.
