I have had InDesign CC for a couple of years on subscription on my PC with Windows 8.1 with no problems. ID is up to date through Creative Cloud. Windows is also up to date. About 3 weeks ago when I double click on the ID icon to launch, it brings up the screen showing it is loading. Then it shows the black screen with the bar at the top and then it closes. I have tried opening ID several times and sometimes after 5-6 attempts, it opens. Sometimes if I do a PC restart and try opening ID it opens. And sometimes it takes 5-6 tries. Not sure what to do. Uninstall/reinstall? Repair? I have not added any new software or apps recently.
As an aside, I am having similar problems with Illustrator CC and Photoshop CC.
The programs all work fine once they are opened.
