I've been trying for 1/2 hr to change my password to a new complex one. It won't accept it. What's up?
Go to Adobe.com and click on the manage account button to change it.
If you’re still having issues contact Adobe directly, this is not an InDesign issue and nobody here can help.
Oh, I just went through something similar and know the frustration!
I tried to create a new login and password at a bank site last week. Nowhere did it say that I could not start with a number! But when I started with a letter, it finally accepted it. If there are rules listed, make sure you read and follow the rules for letters, capital letters, special characters, length, etc. Some sites won't take a ~ or a ^ and some do. Try switching things up a little, but keep the basic more secure password that you have.
You may need to take notes. It took me 8-9 tries last week. Shred them when done!
I have two-step authentication with my Adobe ID now. Every time I sign in, they send a six-digit text message.
