Not sure where this document originates from, but there are several chances to create confusion with this.

  • Adobe Analytics "Standard" does not exist anymore as a product we are selling; the product packaging for Adobe Analytics has completely changed, as described here: Adobe Analytics – now part of Adobe Analytics Cloud
  • you mention "DIL" code which to my knowledge is something that is used in the implementation of Adobe's DMP, Audience Manager - not Adobe Analytics. Actually, if a customer is using both solutions, we recommend the server-side-forwarding of data, so customers even for Audience Manager implementation would not use DIL code at all.
  • in the post implementation section, you mention "tasks within Adobe Audience Manager" - obviously there is a mismatch between to solutions here, which will not help customers to get a better understanding...

Probably a good idea to go over this document again.

Hi Sandro,

We have updated the nomenclature on the forum thread above and will complete the update on the implementation guides within this week. Will share an update as soon as that is done. On similar lines the Analytics Premium implementation guides and the respective forum threads have been updated as Data Workbench.

Thanks for your help!
