The last time I opened any of my drawings, there was nothing wring with them. But today I tried opening it and now everything has turned pixelated and fuzzy. I don't know why or what happened; has anyone else had the same problem, and can it be fixed?

Try turning off the GPU acceleration using the Rocket icon in the Control panel.

If you View > Outline, do you see the vectors or a rectangle that represents an image?

Vectors don't change on their own, unless you File > Export in a raster format like JPEG or GIF or PNG. Even then you should still have the last saved version of your AI file.

+1...  I think this is just caused by an issue with the GPU.

Switch to using the CPU to display and see if it clears up.
