    workspace too small

    jckftr

      Hello!

I am working in Ae not for a long time yet, but I can't seem to figure out if there is a way to change the size of the workspace.

I have a 13 inch screen on my laptop and it is not suitable enough for animation or basicly for the use of After Effects.

Is there a way to change the size of Workspace or make the fonts/windows etc. smaller?

Thank you for your answer and help!

what resolution are you working on? the system requirements for resolution are 1280x1080 for CC2014 and above. if you don't have that, you are bound to get stuck on one point or another even if you do manage to set a workspace.

you can't change the size of fonts. you can change the workspace by closing panels and creating a custom workspace or try the "small workspace" preset (Window->Workspace)

A 13" laptop is too small for AE, even with a screen resolution that meets the minimum specifications. Working on a 15" laptop is a squeeze.
