I too am interested in this. Anyone have ideas?
try setting the "x" and "y" paremeters in your "-app.xml" file
<!-- The window's initial x position. Optional. -->
<!-- <x></x> -->
<!-- The window's initial y position. Optional. -->
<!-- <y></y> -->
Thanks halastyx, that worked perfectly. I have one more question though, is it possible to set the application to start as maximized? Or is there any way for AIR to remember the window size and position when closed and reopened?
call stage.nativeWindow.maximize(); in creationComplete function.
If you want to remember position, size you have to save them on exit and load it on lunch (ie you can use Shared Object for that)
I am also looking for this behavior. However, I couldn't find any method to position the native window (so even if I stored the position of the window on close, I wouldn't be able to move it back there when it reopened).
The only function I found related to moving the native window is startMove() which seems to interact only with user mouse movement.
